About us

Nashville Ethiopian Evangelical Church is a Christ-centered spiritual community dedicated to spreading the Gospel, nurturing faith, and serving our Ethiopian and international family in Nashville and beyond. Our church is a place of worship, prayer, and fellowship, where believers come together to grow in their relationship with God and live out His calling. we are committed to discipleship, evangelism, and serving with love. Through powerful worship, inspiring messages, and strong community support, we strive to reflect the love of Christ in everything we do.

Our Mission

Our mission is to faithfully share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all people and to provide spiritual guidance that leads individuals into a transformative relationship with God. We are committed to proclaiming the truth of God’s Word, making disciples, and equipping believers to live out their faith with purpose and compassion.

Through worship, teaching, fellowship, and service, we seek to create a Christ-centered community where hearts are renewed, lives are transformed, and God’s love is reflected in every action. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we strive to be a light in our community and beyond, offering hope, healing, and the message of salvation to a world in need.

Our desire is to honor God in all we do, to nurture spiritual growth, and to inspire others to follow Jesus, living lives that glorify Him and advance His Kingdom.

We Believe

The Holy Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are the divinely inspired and verbally communicated Word of God. They are entirely without error in their original manuscripts and stand as the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, and daily living. God's Word is the ultimate guide for truth, teaching, correction, and spiritual growth. We believe in the one true and living God, who eternally exists in three distinct persons:

  • God the Father The Creator and Sovereign Lord. 1 Corinthians 8:6

  • God the Son (Jesus Christ) The Savior and Redeemer. John 3:16.

  • God the Holy Spirit The Helper and Guide. John 14:26

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

"As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love."
